Being John Malkovich

Pros:
-A completely original plot
-Brilliant acting
-Great storyline; trippy!

Cons:
-Starts off slow

Explaining what this movie is about cannot be done in words. This is the most unpredictable and unconventional movie that you will ever see. You cannot put this movie in a genre. Itís comedy, action, science fiction, romance, and horror all rolled up in one. Even with its highly complex plot, you will not be confused one bit since the plot is so carefully and masterfully directed. The acting by John Malkovich was particularly sensational. This is the most inventive movie yet and deserves all the accolades it receives. I absolutely love films that play with your mind and this is definitely one of them.

Grade: A

Grading Scale:
A = Outstanding and Innovative. A suspenseful and thought-provoking movie with originality and great direction.
B = Good. Nothing spectacular but otherwise a good, solid movie.
C = Fair. An average, lackluster movie that has some redeeming values.
D = Poorly done movie with major flaws in plot and direction. The story is usually confusing or uninteresting. Not recommended.
F = Completely Worthless.

I just watched this movie again yesterday. When I cannot decide what to watch this movie usually works. The part where Malkovich goes inside his own head is brilliant.
