I deeply distrust people who come here with photos of girls on their profiles. chances are that they are 54 year old pedos on the hunt....you are most likely one such case.

I don't care about the money only that my work and its undercurrents make it to the shelves to be read and learned from. As to the monkey bosses in the publishing/writing world I'll only have limited exposure to them - I can handle limited - not permanent.

Amaris - how remiss of me, You are a blessing to the cloud and your posts are wise and insightful, this is added to by your providing other such blessings in the form of your friend network. Thankyou for posting and know you are at least as much appreciated as wiiire (probably more so but don't tell wire I said that).

I mean I don't like working for what I call 'monkey bosses' who are instinctively driven rather than rationally driven - they are fools but that seems to be the majority of bosses I have had so I work for myself to avoid them.

As Ben says, thanks for bringing some people who are legitimately interested in philosophy - not trolling!

As I suspected they would do to me when I first decided to write - thanks for the input. I was somehow intuitively aware of this - probably due to my business history. Ironically I'm an anti-capitalist business man. I have too much compassion and empathy to be good at business but I don't like to be told what to do by fools so I have no choice in it until I get successfully published.

I like your style - and your friend wiiiire's style too BTW, good work on introducing them to this site, my thanks for that - I hope you accept my proffered hand of friendship.

mmm good call with the research thing lol... i wrote my book (also sci fi/fantasy) once and sent it off to TLC who get books ready for publication. one of the main things wrong with it was lack of background... i liked having possible avenues in my book that i knew nothing about (they were beautiful mysteries) but yeah for the past couple of months since the TLC critique i've been doing all the planning and notes i should have done in the first place. i grudgingly admit that other authors are right in saying that you need to be omniscient in your own little universe so do try and think about everything before you start writing coz it'll help annoying rewrites later =)

I'm in the process of researching and I've only got the politics element to go before I'm able to formally begin the true writing of my science fiction adventure. Thank-yoy for your comments on my writing ability.
