I've been seeing this guy named Joseph for quite some time now. He's (currently) 23, from Texas, and in the U.S. Navy.

He also got me pregnant around the end of January.

We're incredibly excited, as are my parents (who are basically in love with him). We find out June 2nd if it's a boy or girl. I think it's a boy, but there's a higher percentage that it's a girl due to Joseph's job. They estimate that submariners are 30% more likely to have female offspring, probably...

My last blog entry was posted while I was in Arizona. I moved back to Connecticut in April and broke up with the guy down there. I haven't had a boyfriend since, but I've dated a bit. I guess I have a few lingering commitment issues.

My dad's been sick. His brain started bleeding a year ago. He was supposed to have brain surgery, but because he was on blood thinners (he had a valve in his heart replaced about five years ago), they couldn't operate right away. He would have bled out...

Cool. I probably still won't become active again. At least not for a looong time.

I have two jobs now. One at Dunkin Donuts, and another at Mohegan Sun Casino, working in the arena. I got to see Matchbox 20 last night. Great show.

I'm also looking at another job at the other local casino (Foxwoods). It's a full time job, so I'll be able to leave the one at Dunkin Donuts. I'm going to keep the arena job no matter what, though. I get paid to watch bands. How cool is...
