Are there any honest people over the age of about 3? Or are they all over about this age playing loose with reality due to dangerously compromising their very being?

My hope is that honesty still exists out there in post-3 year-olds or will come back to those who have apparently prostrated themselves before a world of lies and lying

Honesty to one's self, or an acceptable code of honesty ? I mean there are those who are honestly pleasant good people, while there are those who honestly want to do harm to others. Looking at honesty in a non-conventional way, which I must, my belief is the Spirit that enters and eventially leaves a human is still pure in the very young under good normal circumstances, then the journey begins through a life where only where animals and babies are completely honest.

These days I trust a Timber Rattler to be a Timber Rattler rather than to trust most humans.

No, the sun appears white to us, however, the most common emitted frequency of the sun is in the green part of the visible spectrum.

I think yellow. The peak is at about 510nm.
But the total light is pinkish...

Averaging the first 4 (ignoring the last one indicating peak surface radiation at 290 nm), the average is 490 nm, which is Cyan. Slightly above green, slightly below blue.

As for the pink...meh.

The sun is not a blackbody, so although the temperature for a blackbody would give you green, the sun is more yellow at peak. Suprisingly difficult to find anything definitive on this.

Although we can broadly say that sunlight is white, it'd be a bit of a suprise if it actually were pure white light - wouldn't it?

Obviously there can also be a discussion on ACTUAL colour, versus captured colour - the human eye is most sensitive to (suprise) green/yellow light.

BTW - the human eye can distinguish about 1 million hues. My monitor can display rather mor ethan that. What's the fuggin point?

The sun is indeed not a black body, but due to the fact that the sun would emit a much larger amount of light than it reflected, I had assumed it safe to vulgarly consider it the same as a black body. So then the radiation coming from the rest of the universe is luminescent enough to change the emitted peak that much? Interesting.

I dunno - like I say it's difficult to get definitive data on this for some reason.

BUT - remember the sun isn't simply an object that has been heated up to a given temperature and is now radiating. It's pouring out radiation through an atmosphere, so there's absorption at the surface. And, it's not black. Carbon nanotubes are the best approx to blackbodies (that we have) and that's about 99% emissivity. A blackhole is black, but it's fairly cold....
