If you remove the aerial from a TV you no longer see the TV program.
That does not prove that the TV program is inside the aerial.

Same applies to the parts of the brain associated with certain behaviours.

If you were a spirit observing the world for 2k years,
would you not learn a few languages? Like all of them, perhaps?

How many conversations do you think he has heard in that time?

It is quite possible to think without language.
Wittgenstein was shell-shocked.

We think in images, we think in sounds, feelings, so many indescribable things.
But a necesary aspect of a thought
is that it has A thinker.

A singular sense of self and perspective.

When you play a computer game alot, it feels like you are inside the game,
you mind projects itself into the game, you forget about all around you
and it feels like you are flying in an aircraft.

By the same token,
your thoughts appear to be inside your head because thats where your senses
are located.

If your eyes and ears were in your hands you would think that your thoughts
were a result of the cells in your hands.

There is a psychology experiment which proves the separation of mind and body quite clearly.

A pair of goggles that inverts what you see so that everything looks upside down.

After a time, your mind adjusts, and it no longer looks upside down.
