Strange animals

I have found pictures of animal from the deepsea, and they are strange. If you can find any more pictures and/or more information about new animals, then could you post it here.

Though I don't have a picture of it, I was out hiking a couple of years ago with my girlfriend. We came across a farm. And on this farm there were some ducks...noy unusual for a farm. Among the ducks was a creature that looked exactly like a turkey - except it had webbed feet! It climbed into the pond and swam with the ducks. Was irt a turkey or a duck? Has anyone ever seen a creature like this before?

One of my favorite weird animals, the tuatara, which has channels all over its skin to carry any water it touches directly to its mouth...

Colossal Squid's my favourite. They live near antarctica, and get into fights with sperm whales, often winning...

For a decent description of one, think a giant squid with spiky tentacles. They only discovered them recently.

Here's a few pics and diagrams I have lying about:

Here are some web sites I found about the "maltese tiger":

You can find more out on your own.
