Here is a little history on the Alaska Independence Party. The Party was founded by an ultra-rightist gold miner, Joe Vogler in the 1970s with an "anti-American" platform. Palin has denounced those abroad in oil rich countries who "hate America." Joe Vogler hated America. He said in the 1970s, "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I have no use for America or her damned institutions."

Later Vogler said that "the fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred of the US government. And I won't be buried under their damn flag....when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home." He said this in an oral history interview at the University of Alaska in 1991, at which time Bill Ayers had rejected his own past and had become respectable. Two years later Vogler disappeared. A criminal subsequently confessed to murdering him in a conflict over the sale of plastic explosives (which may suggest terrorism).

“Officials of the Alaskan Independence Party say that Palin was once so independent, she was once a member of their party, which, since the 1970s, has been pushing for a legal vote for Alaskans to decide whether or not residents of the 49th state can secede from the United States.

And while McCain's motto -- as seen in a new TV ad -- is "Country First," the AIP's motto is the exact opposite -- "Alaska First -- Alaska Always."

After refraining from commenting on the charge for a day, the McCain campaign on Tuesday asserted that Palin was never a member of the AIP.

But Lynette Clark, the chairman of the AIP, tells ABC News that Palin and her husband Todd were members in 1994, even attending the 1994 statewide convention in Wasilla. Clark was AIP secretary at the time.

"We are a state's rights party," says Clark, a self-employed goldminer. The AIP has "a plank that challenges the legality of the Alaskan statehood vote as illegal and in violation of United Nations charter and international law."

Are you Americans going to elect an intellectually challenged woman VP who was a member of the Alaska Independence Party which not only includes extremely anti-American militia groups, Christian Identity, White Supremacists, and Vogler, former AIP leader who conspired with Iran to denounce the USA before the United Nations. Iran sponsored his planned appearance. However, Vogler was murdered by a fellow AIP nutcase.

As much as I dislike Palin for this, I can not ignore the connections between Obama and Ayers. And the fact that this domestic terrorist is still out on the street.

The fact that Obama knew and was friends with Ayers before he even made these statements and stayed friends with him is my biggest problem.

Also the sheer fact that not only do we have to worry about Palins religious beliefs, but also Obama's. He says he wants same sex rights, but will not accept gay marriage rights. Also the fact that Obama is a 20 year friend with Rev. Wright. Sorry but if my friend ever talked like that fruit, he would of been left long ago as a friend. And if anyone tells you that this was a recent thing that is with Wright, has their head in the sand.

Another association is ACORN with Obama. I mean seriously, if you do not want a "intellectually challenged woman VP", do you want a leader that is irresponsible and associated with domestic terrorists like Ayers.

McCain is prone to war - he was born of it. A moderate like Obama is prone to assess first then decide before leaping.

If I were American I'd vote for Obama in a heart beat if the other choice were the maverick McCain and the dimwit Palin.
