Yea they say English is a difficult language to learn, but luckily there are a lot of German-English cognates.

I was going to go to Germany for a foreign exchange student program through my school but it didn't work out. I would still like to learn German though, mainly because I like German folklore and philosophy - maybe we could help each other out.
