FrostCloud Member Interview [April 2004] This Month’s Member: Kolriss Profile: http://www.frostcloud.com/forum/member.php?u=157 > 1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your life goals. Um... I'd have to say, at age 17, I have no goals as yet, other than to possibly get a job at a gaming place, or take over the world (and get into Uni - a very hard thing these days here). I think that also sums me up quite nicely. > 2. What’s your favorite film, book, and music cd? Film: It'd have to be The Adventures of Pluto Nash - the only funny Eddy Murphy movie out. Book: definitely Raising the Stones by Sherri S. Tepper Music CD: toss up between Tenacious D and Steal This Album! (System of a Down) > 3. You’ve been a member of FrostCloud for over two years. What has made you stay around? Actually, I didn't... You may have noticed I disappeared for about a year or so. The reason I came back? More intelligence here than where I was hanging out online. > 4. Do you have any favorite threads at FrostCloud? Um... generally, I tend not to have favourites - I like anything with any intelligent and possibly unique ideas. > 5. From your posts, you claim that you’re a Christian. However, you seem to have a different interpretation of Christianity compared to many other Christians on the forum. How exactly do you personally interpret Christianity? Nice question. I interpret it the way Jesus meant it. This could be summed up in one phrase - Love your neighbor as yourself. Many people forget that. > 6. What kind of advancements do you see happening in the 21st century? I hope for more general intelligence, but seeing the likelihood of that, there's the obvious beginnings of space exploration, a possible drop in general skepticism, and hopefully a new social order. > 7. Who are your personal heroes and role models? Maddox (www.maddox.xmission.com) is a legend of a role model, Foamy (www.illwillpress.com/vault.html) is great for tips, and my Mum, who has 3 horses, a dog and a cat, works at a Uni, is an endurance athlete, trains her horses, and teaches people to ride horses. She's one awesome person, and actually listens and tries to understand, rather than discounting things out of hand. > 8. Anything else you’d to say to the members of FrostCloud? If you ever experiment on malevolent extradimensional beings, make sure you wear protective goggles and gloves... Don't eat at McDonalds... Always try and see what the other person is trying to convey, and ignore the stupid way they put it... And definitely never discount something out of hand.
Since I am still new to the board, I am still finding new things to look at. Even though I am an atheist, I am positively delighted by Kolriss' reply to this question. If more Christians (and more atheists!) actually applied the Golden Rule (loving one's neighbor...), the world would be a much better place.
Drom, are you popping red pills? Hi Kolriss, I'm still trying to forget you telling me I'm stupid when I first came on the scene. That's why I want to read a Drom interview now, he has class in his jeans.
Yes! We are related with classy ass pants!. Even if they are cheap shots! Shot; 1. Two tone in color woven of two colors in such a way that when the fabric is viewed from different angles the visible colors change. Somewhere, over the rainbow, la la la. La la, la la la la la, la la la la la la. La la la la la la la la la, la la la la la la...
I mean adding anything else after the interview, sorry. Thats what i mean, most of the otehr interviews the people added stuff after the main one, not that he should, i found it plain and simple...all well my opinion.
Well, the blue ones give me problems... Saruman from Lord of the Rings had a whole robe like that. He lacks pants-class, though.
