Wow.... finally... an interview with me... :D

Well StillPond.... by now you know what to call me!!! anything is fine.... Miss Balls is maybe a little formal.... so lets stick with Monkey or something along those lines... unless you really want to call me Miss Balls... then carry on!! ;)

What keeps bringing me back to and how would I rate the Cloud and why??

well... of course fc is an easy 8..... nothing ever scores 10... coz everything can be improved upon....

I keep coming back here coz of people like yourself who make me laugh and get me thinking. There are a few on fc whom have always given me a fresh perspective on issues in an amusing and entertaining way.... yes even before you were here StillPond!!

I keep coming back coz I'm sad and pathetic with nothing better to do..... That and this damn site is so addictive!!! I started here for a joke swearing I'd never actually become an active member....

now I practically live here!! go figure!! :lol1:

What is one of your most embarrassing moments and why??

That one's gonna take some thought!!

I'm such a dizzy bint that everyday something embarrassing happens!! I will have a think and get back to you on that... (maybe)..... :)

    What is my favourite food?

Anything with fruit or veg in.....

I'm not just trying to seem like a health freak or anything... I just absolutely love any fruit or veg :)

My fav meat is a big fat juicy steak..... ribeye, T-bone or rump... hmmmm.....

I love spicy food too... so if I get lots of veg and steak in a really spicy sauce...... I'm very happy! :D

    My favourite colour....

Well..... I guess that'd be black.... apart from that's not really a colour, I know!!

I've just always worn black for years..... black and red...

    My favourite car??

I guess you mean road car....

    nothing spectacular I'm afraid...

for Road cars I just like something reliable and comfy....

The best car I ever had was actually a Skoda Octavia....

I loved that car sooooooo much!!!!

It was a proper executive car... comfy, speedy... fantastic on fast open roads....

I loved it that much every weekend I'd be cleaning and polishing it.... those were the days!!!

Now... I just settle for something that starts... and if I'm lucky it'll get me to the pre-school ok!!! :lol1:

    oh..... too many to list!!

    Most recently, well you know!!!!

Last year was probably one of the hardest of my life.

We (my ex husband, son and I) got kicked out of our house last May - why I wasn't around for most of last year, for those who didn't know - That was a bad time. Because of the way this Country works, we ended up having to live in a caravan for 8 months....

Luckily it was during summer... and what a lovely summer we had.... but we didn't get a house until 18 December 2006... so Christmas wasn't the best of times.... living out of boxes and stuff.

The whole of last year, we had no money, and nothing.... it was the lowest point in my life...

But what I learned from it, was that you don't need a house and money to survive, and although it was a difficult time, we made the most of it... I'm sure if my ex and I had still been madly in love, it would have been a fantastic time... unfortunately we were already on the verge of collapse... we just held on until we had a roof over our heads for our son.

The whole experience was one I actually wouldn't trade. There was something rather liberating living in that shitty scummy caravan..... we had more freedom than ever before... whole fields for my son and tripod to run around in. We met people whom I would never normally give the time of day....

It also made me realise I didn't love my husband, and nothing could be rekindled. There's nothing like sharing a little box for 8 months to realise these things!!!
We always said it would either make us stronger or tear us apart.

I'm not sad about this. That might seem hard, but it has opened us both up to being able to live our lives and be truly happy.... we both realise we could never and have never been that together....

The other thing I learned is although people say age differences don't matter if you're in love.... 9 years difference is a lot.... and it does make a difference!!!

I'm not getting into anything else now.... maybe later :)

It sounds insincere and obvious.... but after all I've been through... my life dream is to just be happy.

I've owned a house.... it's overrated!! Property prices are ridiculous in England now, and interest rates are rising so often.... It's too much of a headache just yet.... for now I'm happy to rent and have the landlord deal with the house problems :lol1:

I don't want to be rich..... just comfortable...

It'd be nice to be able to do things that most people take for granted, but I've not sone for sooo long!! Like going out for a meal.... having a night out with the lads.... treating myself to some new shoes, or the latest gizmo ;)

I aim to have enough money to support my family and offer a comfortable life for us.

    well... I have no faith...

I'm born a Christian, attended a Church of England school... but never believed.

I try not to get into religious debates, becoz whenever I have before, I take it a little too far and end up upsetting people.

    I guess I'm just cynical.....

    that's a toughy!!

It changes all the time, depending on my mood.

Music has always been my life..... It's helped me through my life, and all the shit that's happened. Music really has been my saviour!!!

I guess a constant favourite.... one that is pure genius and no matter how long it is from one play to the next, it never disappoints me is:

The Colour and the shape - Foo Fighters

Dave Grohl really is a musical genius and deserves a lot more praise than he gets :)

again, depends on my mood :)

The Shawshank Redemption is fantastic, as is The Green Mile and Stand By Me.... but the books by Stephen King are all better than the movies...

Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Kill Bill - Big Quentin Tarrentino fan :)
Shaun of the dead and Hot Fuzz - excellent British films ;)

music and movies are things I can talk about all night.... so I'll stop now, before I bore you even more!!!!!

ahhhh..... now we're getting to the deeper questions....

Well, how else could I feel about it??

I was shocked and appalled. It all seems to be happening too often these days... more and more psychos are choosing schools to shoot up, terrorists are using them as a hostages (like the Beslan school seige). It's a piss poor state of affairs.... :sad2:

    top 5????

there are too many problems with this fucked up world to choose the top 5.

I guess the environmental problems should be at the top... if the ozone vanishes, the oceans rise and the polar caps melt, the rainforests all get chopped down, etc, etc.... then there'll be no where to live... so ensuring a planet to live on has to be top priority!

The issues with the 3rd world.. all those poor people starving, catching and spreading aids, children being snatched or worse sold by their parents. The slave trades so we can have cheap clothes, a nice cheap marble work top in the kitchen, cheap electrical equipment....

Fucked up people abusing and torturing children, and adults too for that matter... but children, babies - toddlers who are so trusting, so helpless being physically, sexually and emotionally abused, by parents, family, friends, the peadophile across the road that the government thought would be a suitable place for them to live....

I know in the grander scheme of things, it's nothing, but still it pisses me off.... animal cruelty. I wish I could kick the shit out of people who neglect and abuse animals, who hunt them for 'sport', who purposely run them over on the roads..... I'd like to chase them all with a pack of hungry dogs that've been trained to go straight for the crotch....

I'm sorry Still..... but now I'm all depressed :(

It's a toss up between America... obviously!!! or Australia.

I've always wanted to go to The States, and I'm sure over the coming years I will :)

Australia I have a particular interest in, I nearly emmigrated a couple years back to Perth... I'm glad I didn't now!! but it would have been an experience....

o_O don't really have one anymore.

When I was a teenager, I loved Christian Slater.... I've seen just about every movie he's ever done.
Ethan Hawke was a good actor, but being married to Uma overshadowed his career a little!!!

John Travolta has done some good movies, and he'll always be a fav just based on Grease and Pulp Fiction :lol1:

I can't think of any now!!! I've got writers block!!!

never once in my life have I given that any thought whatsoever!!!

I'll get back to you ;)

Well, up until about 3 1/2 weeks ago I'd never even been on a plane!!

My holidays have always been in Cornwall, England. I've always gone there, coz up until 6 weeks ago, I've always had dogs, and taken them with me :D

All my holidays there have been fantastic, I'll remember each and every one of them with pleasure, and a fuzzy feeling inside :lol1:

I don't think I'll go back now though. I don't think that I could walk along the 3 mile beach without Snoopy running around like a crazed lunatic, or over the sand dunes without just seeing either his ears (which use to have an 'unhinged' angle about them when he was on a mission) or his tail sticking out of a rabbit hole.

I wouldn't change those holidays, not for anything, but now I think it's time for me to get out and see the world :D

Right.... this is my last one, then I've GOT to go to bed!!!!

I guess I should deliberate over this, choose some deep and meaningful people who could restart the population and reinstate all the governments, laws, education....

but now... where would be the fun in that???

    1. My Son.... obviously!!!

    2. You.... coz we get on so well that I'd need someone like you to keep me laughing when everything else turned to shit!!!

    3. MOTA Boy..... given the circumstances, I think I have to include him otherwise he'll only be whining at me tomorrow.....

    4. Peter Kay..... coz that guy is the funniest person on earth!! If there's only gonna be 10 other people.... I want to be able to have a good time!!!

    5. Dave Grohl.... coz the world is gonna need some decent music

    6. Billie Joe Armstrong....... same as above

    7. Clive Barker...... good author and movie director in one!!!

    8. Patricia Cornwell..... for when I get tired of reading/hearing stories about fantasy and horror (it could happen!!!)

(this is more difficult than I thought it would be!!!)

    9. My Mum..... so I can have a bitch about the rest of you f*ckers when you get on my nerves!!

    10. MOTA Boy's Brother..... coz when them two get together.... you literally have tears streaming down your face from laughing so hard!!!

    1. My Chemical Romance

    2. Green Day

    3. Foo Fighters

    4. The Offspring (but they'd have to sign an agreement that stopped them from playing anything more recent than Ixnay on the Hombre........ Americana at the very n=most!!!)

right... I know this next one isn't going to be a popular choice, but it's my lollapolooza and I'll have who I want on!! :p

    5. Panic! at the disco (yeah, yeah...... f*ck off ;) )

    6. Evanescence

    7. Metallica

    8. Marilyn Manson

    9. Tenacious D

    10. Underworld (I know it's out of genre... but I like Underworld!!)

    11. Red hot chilli peppers

    12. Lost Prophets (at a push)

I love watching birds, I love birds of prey, but I think one of my favourite birds are swallows....

I love it at this time of year coz when they come back 13 April every year.... without fail, it's the sign that summers nearly here :)

I love watching them swoop and dive over my Mum's back garden.

    forget me not.

I've always loved them since I was at school and heard during a bible class the story of how they got their name... I don't believe the story for a second.... but I've always loved 'em ever since :)

now that is a really difficult one!!!

I love reading.... yes madesta was right (which is why I was so outraged!!!)

Imajica - Clive Barker is probably my favourite fantasy, although the whole David Eddings 12 book series is absolutely fantastic!!!

The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the apocolypse - Robert Rankin is the funniest and most surreal book ever EVERYONE MUST READ IT!!!!

and I like the Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell.... but her nore recent books have sucked :(
