Palestinian statehood is legitimate

The European Parliament on Thursday adopted a resolution which declared the Palestinian people’s “legitimate right to create an independent state.”

The document was unanimously approved by members during the European Parliament session. The members stressed that EU states, along with the international community, should reconfirm their strong commitment to the security of Israel. jpost

Actually, Israel and the U.S. want the load of oil and gas off Gaza's shore. And when I say the U.S., I mean corporate America, the thing from which Obama takes his orders.

I have to disagree here Glenn, I think Obamas lips are on the collective asses of the Islamists.

Personally I think that region should be a no-mans land of free state. Meaning no Jewish control or Islam influence. Religion is playing a pathetic role in this whole issue. Its time to let the Zionists fascists and the Islamofascists to their fate of thier own choice.

Does this mean we do not fight terrorists? Heck no, bt it means we have to make choices of where and when.

It also means pulling our foreign aide from around the worldand worry about our own borders for a while if not indefinately.

Best way for them to establish a state is to do it the same way all other states have been formed: have a war, win it, draw lines on the map.

The problem of course is that no arab army has ever won a war. So, they have decided to do what all petulant children do: be such an annoyance that those with the real power will give in and GIVE them what they want.

DO you think the Americans of 1770s had a chance in hell, still they won their independence. Do you think the Lybians of the current war had a chance, no, but they went ahead and wiped the floor of the loyalists. Yes they had help, but so did America in the Revolutionary War(at the end I might add).

Point is, they have a chance, they are just losers about it and attack women and childern(so do the Israelis, but that is because the Hamas hides behind civilians).

Do you believe the Libyan people welcomed the U.S.? And if so, why do you believe that?

And who bombed Libya's great man-made river? Why did they do that?

THis is irrelevent. But they welcomed NATO, not the USA.

I see you do not respond to my point of human beings used for shields. Why, you think that is okay?

A while ago, I accused you of overlooking the illegality of Israel's occupation, its destruction of civilian infrastructure, and the killing of innocent civilans. I still accuse you of that.

When the rest of the world stands by and watches, you insist that the victims play fair.

Once again, I'll say it. Unless, or until, it's your children being starved and having fire dropped on them, you'll not care enough to call a halt to it.

There is actually an alternative to taking land by force of arms.

The Palestinians should take a lesson from the people of Mexico. The US has been invaded, not by force of arms, but by people wanting to work and have a good and peaceful life for their families. The "legal" US citizens are split on what to do about the "illegals". The vast majority of our invaders are very nice people. They will never be deported. People with a Latino background now outnumber those with African heritage. There are already many, many more Palestinians than Israelis. All the Palestinians have to do is live peacefully and out-populate the Jews. Eventually the human penchant for universal civil rights will overcome any artificial barriers. This is the way Islam is invading Europe.
