I knew, you do not see a problem. So what about bombing of England in WWII? Following your moral value, killing innocent people in England reduced bombing of Dresden. Do you feel the same? And the execution of that Brasil man is no different from gestapo way.
Would you rather the police did nothing? and then if he had turned out to be a sucide bomber, a train full of people be dead, is that what you are saying, 1 life is worth more than 100? what if your family where on the train and the police did nothing and they all died? it was a mistake, a bad mistake that these officers will spend the rest of there lives living with........ it will haunt them and impare there judgemnt in futre. it is very rare in the UK for police to shoot people! compared to most other nations, i'm willing to bet the police in your country kill more people! were ever that is! as for the whole world war 2 thing, that is about total war, decreasing the countries moral and making them stresses and tired, breaking there will and hopefully they will surrender! so no i dont have a problem with dresden! it worked, it shell shocked the german population! as for the bombing of london and coventry and many other british cities! well what can i say, we are made of harder stuff, because we carried in on and eventually with the help of our allies came through it! i truley hope you are never in charge of any thing where life and death situations arise, because you are likely to end up killing more of your friends because you cant accept the hard truth, than you are likely to save people. again i truley feel for the family of that brazilian, and if i was them i would be fighting for everything i could get, but i was in london during the bombings on 7/7 i had to deal with the aftermath of that, and i know how jumpy and scared people where! i had fully grown men breaking down on me! so as much as i sympathise, i thing the police done the best they could with the intelligence they had! i'm also willing to bet that there is not a day goes by when those police officers dont feel guilt and shame over what happend, and torture themselves every day! but remeber you can not shout a warning to a potential suicide bomer! it gives them time to blow stuff up! so again puff i ask you, if he had been a bomber (that the police believed he was) would you rather them do nothing? and 100's of people die instead?
Doctors in the Iraqi city of Fallujah are reporting a high level of birth defects, with some blaming weapons used by the US after the Iraq invasion. The city witnessed fierce fighting in 2004 as US forces carried out a major offensive against insurgents. Now, the level of heart defects among newborn babies is said to be 13 times higher than in Europe. The US military says it is not aware of any official reports showing an increase in birth defects in the area. BBC world affairs editor John Simpson visited a new, US-funded hospital in Fallujah where paediatrician Samira al-Ani told him that she was seeing as many as two or three cases a day, mainly cardiac defects. Professor Alastair Hay from Leeds University says the cause of the birth defects is still in doubt Our correspondent also saw children in the city who were suffering from paralysis or brain damage - and a photograph of one baby who was born with three heads. He adds that he heard many times that officials in Fallujah had warned women that they should not have children. Doctors and parents believe the problem is the highly sophisticated weapons the US troops used in Fallujah six years ago. British-based Iraqi researcher Malik Hamdan told the BBC's World Today programme that doctors in Fallujah were witnessing a "massive unprecedented number" of heart defects, and an increase in the number of nervous system defects. She said that one doctor in the city had compared data about birth defects from before 2003 - when she saw about one case every two months - with the situation now, when, she saw cases every day. Ms Hamdan said that based on data from January this year, the rate of congenital heart defects was 95 per 1,000 births - 13 times the rate found in Europe. "I've seen footage of babies born with an eye in the middle of the forehead, the nose on the forehead," she added. A spokesman for the US military, Michael Kilpatrick, said it always took public health concerns "very seriously". "No studies to date have indicated environmental issues resulting in specific health issues," he said. "Unexploded ordinance, including improvised explosive devices, are a recognised hazard," he added. BBC
He said nation, not a state county. I highly doubt you are from the USA, with the way you type on here. And he said county jimbad, there are counties in the US that have the name Cook. In fact there is a Cook County right here in Illinois...Chicago is in that county. As you can see, Puff can not tell where he/she is from, because it would give away their biases.
i see, i should take a little more time and read what is there! but i'm going with you on this one! i doubt puff is from the US.........!
Dragon, be more acurate: Cook County is not in IL but is inside Chicago, IL I thing the wind in the wind city make you difficult to think. Or maybe this is the influence of the Bean in Millenium Park?
