I looked him up (Imus), it does look like him. Argh is single minded, what can you do, I agree with most of his input - not the personal stuff, there is no stopping that.

No problem, you can refer to this in the future if you ever decide it's time to realise the dream.

Thanks Ben. And thanks for the interest in the trains. I would like to have the space and the time to be able to do a model train setup someday. I did have a Lionel train set when I was a kid. Gave it to my younger cousin when I went to college and he promptly trashed it. I'm not actually into it now. Too busy with real life to do a miniature kingdom. That part of my profile was misleading. My bad. I will fix it today.

Yes, all fine, but are you interested in the trains?

I am quite flattered by the friends requests. But, I decided a long time ago to not post or reveal anything of a personal nature on the internet, to anyone. I do not do private messages. It's not that I don't trust any one individual. I just think it's much better to remain as anonymous as possible on the internet. I enjoy Frost Cloud and I consider everyone I respond to in the threads to be a friend, or a potential friend. Yes, even Monkey. I believe I can say publicly everything I have to say to anyone and I would not be interested in receiving messages that could not be posted publicly. I know I'm not in tune with the "electronic community" thing of today's young people, but I'm an old dog. Thank you all for your understanding.

Hey Bobbo, I have a friend who has a very large model train collection, very large. It's mostly Triang but he also has a lot of Hornby and other gear as well - He's aiming to have Australia's largest collection. He buys, trades and sells, I can put him in contact with you if your interested.
Also, you have no friends but you are a decent guy - I'll be your friend if you'll have me.

About Me

  • About Bobbo
    Biography
Way too much education, way too much time to think about it. Been places and seen things I'd rather not remember. As a kid I thought most all grown people were settled and matured. Did I have a sheltered life then or what? I was loved.
    Location
    USA
    Interests
I'd like to have an HO scale model train when I retire. Bream fishing. Reality.
    Occupation
    Gave that up at 55
